Awards were presented at the 2005 Banquet held January 28th at the VFW
in Clinton, NY.
Attended by approximately 200 riders, friends and family members. Trophies were awarded
to
top ten riders in each class (top 5 for girls and cruisers), plus presentations to volunteers
(of which there are
many). Michael Rose was presented with a trophy for his six years with perfect attendance. Michael has not missed
a race since we first opened the track 6 years ago.
Blaine Stottlar was the winner in drawing for the certificate
to Camp Woodward in Woodward, Pa.
for one week of fine tuning in the art of BMX racing. Nine riders wrote an essay
stating
the reason they would like to go to Woodward. The winner was picked by a drawing.
Too bad all could
not go but there was only one certificate.
